This is great! I’ve been running the crawler manually for months because I keep fixing the permissions problem on the Windows Tasks folder (as is documented in a variety of articles) but the next day they disappeared again.

After months and months of trying to figure out why my search service continued to fail and having to constantly reset the security for the WSS_WPG group, your article finally saved me!!!!
